About Autism Pathashala:
Autism Pathashala emerged from a heartfelt mission to empower children on the autism spectrum with quality education and comprehensive support. Founded by Vishnu Prasad Bhandari and Amrita Bhandari, parents of two remarkable boys with Autism, Abiral Bhandari 17 years old and Anupam Bhandari 12 years old, our journey began in 2074 B.S, as a response to the educational challenges faced by children in Gulmi and Palpa districts of Nepal. When Mr. Vishnu and Ms. Amrita encountered significant challenges while attempting to enroll their children in schools due to their autistic behavior, they recognized a pressing need for a different approach.
Their determination deepened when their children were subsequently discharged from a school because of their unique behavioral traits. It was at this pivotal moment that they decided to take an initiative and embark on a journey to establish an all-round educational center. This school would not only cater to the specific needs of their children but also extend its welcoming embrace to students and children in the community who faced similar challenges. Fueled by their personal experience, Vishnu Prasad Bhandari who has completed his Ph.D and Mrs. Amrita Bhandari who holds a Bachelor's degree in Education, envisioned a nurturing heaven where children could grow, learn, and thrive despite their unique needs.
With determination, community support and above 100 life members, Autism Pathashala was born, igniting a transformative journey towards inclusive education and brighter future for our students. Autism Pathashala has one-storied building with 5 rooms as its infrastructure as of today.

Our comprehensive educational curriculum is meticulously designed to match each child's abilities and potential, ensuring a bespoke learning experience. Beyond academics, we provide essential therapeutic interventions, speech and language therapy, life skills coaching, and vocational guidance. By closely collaborating with parents, caregivers, and the community, we establish a collective network that optimizes each child's potential and paves the way for a brighter, more inclusive future. The teachers have also taken many online and offline trainings related to autism.
